We encountered some pretty intense weather conditions during our recent camping trip on Kick. You see, the forecast called for a little bit of sunshine, but Mother Nature had other thoughts. Apparently, she decided to throw a massive deluge right in the middle of our adventure!
Our shelter quickly became into a swamp. {Everything was soaked through and through. We made an effort to stay dry, but it was a losing battle. The rain just kept pouring.
It wasn't all bad though. There was something different about the whole experience. We huddled together in our makeshift shelter, sharing stories and trying to stay warm.

Well friends, it's been a wild few months here on the farm! The crops are growing like crazy, and I'm really excited about all the {freshingredients we're going to have.
I've also been workin'/toiling/hustling hard on {someideas that I can't wait to tell you all about soon! In the meantime, here are a few of {quickupdates:
* Got around to finishing up the workshop.
* The chickens/goats/cows are laying/producing/giving tons/loads/plenty of eggs/milk/cheese.
* I've been trying out some new recipes using all the fresh ingredients from the farm.

Wild Ride: Camping in the Storm with Jess
Rain lashed down, turning our campsite into a brown lagoon. But that didn't stop Jess! She was amped to be out here in the wild, braving the elements with a smile on her face. We struggled to erect our tent, which squealed like a wounded animal every time a gust of wind hit it. We huddled inside, sharing snacks, the warmth of each other's company combating the chill. Later, we watched the rain dancing on the leaves, listening to the sounds of nature. This wasn't just a camping trip, it was an experience. A true "Girl Gone Wild" moment!

Farmer girl Jess totally expected it would be a stormy day when she decided to start/kick off/launch her livestream. Truth be told did she know that the heavens up there were planning open up and flood everything in sight! Jess's fans were totally watching her struggle through the mud, trying to keep/maintain/hold her equipment above water. Jess kept on truckin', proving once again that farm life is never boring.
